The Story Begins
Task Force Rock (TFR) was born from a shared bond between four military Veterans and musicians who connected on LinkedIn. Coming from three different states, they converged in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a mission to create something extraordinary. Hosted by Operation Vet NOW (OVN) in an Airbnb, the group spent four days rehearsing three hours of music, blending their talents and shared experiences.
On Saturday, August 5, 2023, TFR made their unforgettable debut, performing for hundreds of Veterans and supporters. The concert was more than music—it was a celebration of resilience, unity, and healing.
The Mission Continues
Inspired by the overwhelming impact of their performance, the founding members of Task Force Rock decided to take their mission nationwide. Today, TFR brings together musicians from Veteran and first responder communities, performing at events that honor American heroes and showcase the transformative power of music.
Why It Matters

The song "Hold On, Reach Out" is a volunteer effort of numerous musicians who care about the suicide crisis in the U.S. military community.
Our promise is that we will donate over half of the profits of this song to organizations across the country that are working daily to help the military community cope with the trauma and stress of service, and veteran life after service.
The song Hold On, Reach Out just fit perfect with our mission at OVN, so with the bands approval, we put that music to our OVN team in action to help and honor our Veterans. Read more about this amazing song and effort at https://www.holdonreachoutsong.com/
Your donation will help us in a mission Jeff was passionate about, to connect our Veterans to support, and honor those that never made it home. Thank you.
