Outreach Event Objective
Our outreach events are designed to connect with Veterans, active-duty service members, and their families in the spaces they already frequent — familiar, comfortable environments where engagement feels natural, not clinical. By leveraging our event experience, we create welcoming, high-energy areas that foster meaningful conversations, peer connection, and direct access to trusted resources.
Veteran Organizations Participation
OVN outreach events serve as a collaborative platform for Veteran-serving organizations and Veteran-owned businesses.
- Organizations provide informational materials and on-site representation
- Partners may staff the OVN Outreach display area
- Materials, resources, and branded items are shared with attending Veterans
- Veteran-owned businesses are invited to participate and engage the community
Together, we create a unified front of support that strengthens impact and visibility.
OVN Ambassador Athletes
Our Ambassador Athletes serve as peer connectors and visible representatives of the Veterans we support.
- Integrated into outreach activations and displays
- Available for equipment showcases, meet-and-greets, and Q&A sessions
- Share personal stories that reinforce purpose, resilience, and connection
Their presence transforms events from informational to relational.
Music Integration – Task Force Rock
Music is a powerful catalyst for connection and healing. Through Task Force Rock and other live music activations, OVN integrates Veteran musicians directly into outreach events.
- Live performances that draw Veterans into the engagement space
- Veteran and first responder musicians sharing their stories through song
- Music as a bridge to conversation, camaraderie, and emotional resilience
When Veterans perform and gather through music, barriers lower, conversations begin, and community strengthens
